About Debbie

Debbie is a 2003 graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She held electrical engineering coop positions at Panametrics, Teradyne and Bose leading to a Systems Engineer role at Raytheon's Ballistic Missile Defense Systems division. At Raytheon she saw the impact of logistics, security concerns, and contract negotiations on engineering decisions. Debbie hopes to gain technical supply management skills to complement her engineering skills, and to apply them in a technical project management role after graduation next June. She is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and is on the support staff for their annual conference in San Antonio.

About Mike

Mike comes from Upper Marlboro, Maryland.  While he grew up in a small town, Mike’s previous profession as a US Army officer took him to many interesting places in the world, culminating in a yearlong tour in Iraq.  Most recently, Mike worked in a federal agency as an operations analyst.  Mike is a longboarder, although the busy streets of Boston/Cambridge provide not-so-favorable conditions. He also likes to play on the piano and spend a disproportionate amount of what little free time he has in the gym.   

About Gautam

Gautam graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2001 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining the MLOG program, he spent 5 years as a management consultant at Deloitte in Chicago, IL. His project experience on different clients in the retail industry made him develop a deep interest in supply chain strategy and management and he felt that the MLOG program would provide him with the right skill set and experiences to become an expert in this field.  Outside of academia and work, Gautam enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing sports, listening to music.

About Josh

Josh hails from Thorntown, Indiana (If you’re ever on a road trip from New York to LA and take several wrong turns – you’ll be in his hometown). He received his BS in Ag Economics from Purdue University and spent the last five years in management consulting for agriculture and food businesses. Josh has spent significant time working in Western Europe and is passionate about food supply chains. He plans to work for a food company to help increase collaboration with their agriculture suppliers. Until then you’ll find him playing guitar, exercising, or on the phone with his fiancé (when not doing homework, of course!)

About Chris

Chris received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in 2003.  After graduation, he worked at General Motors for a year and a half as a manufacturing supervisor and then moved onto a smaller company to become a production manager.  At the smaller company, he developed an interest in supply chain management and then applied to the MLOG program.  Chris' research interests in the MLOG program include supply chain management, operations management, and S&OP processes.  After graduating in June, Chris would like to work as a consultant in supply chain management.
