Read, read, read, and read a few more pages. I've never read so much in my life. Fortunatly, the articles, chapters and lessons I have to read everyday are interesting.
It was another long weekend here at MIT, and I think everyone enjoyed it. I used the time to take in the Boston nightlife a little, and to catch up on some of the homework I've been putting off. Other people went home for the weekend and spent it with there friends. I didn't have the luxury of doing that, but in two weeks I'll be back in Michigan for Thansgiving. before we know it, we'll all be in Spain. I can't wait.
So....I'm running out of things to write. Any prespective candidates have any questions? Housing, classes, job opportunities...anything? Feel free to post a comment!!!
Hi- I'm a prospective student. I just read all of the blog entries and you guys make it sound like you're having a great time- traveling, applying to jobs (already??), starting thesis work. Is it as much fun as you say? What's your most and least favorite parts of the program? - nina

The job hunt, especially for consulting starts around late sep early october...so its pretty different from a 2 yr MBA program where you do your application in January for consulting stuff for internship.
From my experience, and with some comments from others, one of the biggest things about recruiting is that it derails your studies a bit because for a while you get so into these interviews with XYZ that you get out of your groove with schoolwork (which was pretty much embedded when we began with orientation).
As for likes and dislikes. the size of the program encourages us to be friends - and we pretty much all are. So its a great community within the MLOG program. As for dislikes.hard to say..i have gripes every once in a while about diff things, but nothng thats really notable in the long term.
