Today was the first day of the second semester. Affectionately known as the "Feast of St. Syllabus" where I went to undergrad since it is a very relaxed day of class, today again was a relaxing start to the school year where expectations were announced for each class.
One of the nice things about MIT is that students have the ability to "shop" for classes. It is normal for people to register for many more credit hours than they plan on taking. Students then show up to the first few classes and then see which ones look like they will be most relevant to their own career goals. Currently I'm registered for 66 credit hours this semester including a cross registered class. Note that to graduate you need 90 credit hours total for two semesters, so I'm definitely shopping for the ideal mix of classes.

this kind of blog always useful for blog readers, it helps people during research. your post is one of the same for blog readers.
