I feel like I should give next year's class some words of wisdom...
Have Fun. You will definitely be doing plenty of work, so make sure you and your MLOG friends go out and do stuff. Boston and Cambridge are fun cities with lots to do, and when in doubt, there's the Muddy Charles and the Thirsty Ear right on campus.
Love the Lab. You will be spending much more time there than you could ever imagine, so be nice to it. You may be surprised how many of you will be napping there.
Mingle with the LGO's, SDM's and TPP's. The ESD building is home to more than just MLOG. You will recognize them in some of your classes. They too do a lot of work and know the importance of having fun once in a while. Plus its nice to have a friend or two outside of MLOG.
Exercise. Everyone loves endorphins. The Z-center is convenient to the grad dorms and there are basketball courts and soccer leagues. In the fall/winter, our class started an ice hockey team to join the league. If you look closely, you will see Jarrod, the MLOG director even played a few games! And those of us who didn't play (I have way too many old sport's injuries) were there to cheer and take pictures.

yep, thx, your post is interesting, and the picture is nice
