Gabriel is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. He studied Information Systems Engineering at Monterrey Tech and during his studies worked part-time for several companies such as a boutique marketing firm, General Electric, and a Mexican customs broker.
After graduation, Gabriel went on to work for CEMEX in the Supply Chain Technology department. There is where he found an interest in supply chains and an opportunity to pair that interest with his background in IT and technology development. After four years of developing and applying new technologies across the full spectrum of logistics, CEMEX transferred him to Puebla, Mexico where he coordinated the logistics operations of a regional warehouse cluster for one more year.
Currently Gabriel is part of the MLOG 2010 class. In his spare time he likes to travel, enjoy good food in many of Boston's fine restaurants, and spend his money in useless gadgets.
