Melody joins the MLOG class of 2010 from Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate degree
is in International Relations with a concentration in Global Health and Environment
from the University of California at Davis.
After graduation, Melody moved to the east coast where she worked for a boutique consulting firm. There she became deeply involved in a US DOT initiative to improve the delivery of human service transportation—essentially to supply chain public funded service. In 2008, she launched her own consulting operations, running the project management for the US DOT initiative and planning a community-based system of transportation. Melody has worked with the healthcare and applied engineering industries, education and government.
In her spare time, Melody likes to run along the Charles River, explore the city of Boston with other MLOG students and mingle with the larger MIT community.
